She tried to do school at the same time as trying to raise her child even through online classes, but she found it too difficult. She enrolled in the Teen Parent Program through Chemeketa and started excelling in school. Her teachers encouraged her to take the NCRC so that she could pass the math requirements for her diploma. At the last minute, she was unable to complete the OAKS exams due to a medical emergency that required her gallbladder to be removed, this crisis would have delayed her graduation had she not had the opportunity to take the NCRC. She is currently enrolled in the Early College High School Program, a five year program that will give her an associates degree as well as her high school diploma. She is so happy to have this opportunity to be enrolled in these programs and to have taken the NCRC that will help advance her future and give her better opportunities to succeed. She is planning on using the NCRC Certificate on her resume so that she can get a weekend job to help pay for her and her 2 year old son to live. She is also planning on continuing school to become an ultrasound technician.
Jamie highly recommends this test to her friends and family and encourages others in the program.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
