SALEM, OR – Wednesday, July 15, 2015, Incite Inc, SEDCOR, WorkSource Oregon, the City of Independence and local staffing agencies will host a Polk County Job Fair at the Central High School in Independence, Oregon from 11:00am to 7:00pm.

Washington announced on Thursday June 18th, 2015, a money award of $138Million going to 27 states and the Cherokee Tribal Nation in order "to strengthen, expand innovative job training and reemployment strategies for laid-off workers."

Graduating students of the Hoff School of Business (HSB) had the opportunity to present their senior thesis, Corban Consulting Partners (CCP), in front on an audience comprised of community business leaders and their peers on Thursday, April 24 at Corban’s Psalm Performing Arts Center.

Workforce system partners of Oregon will work together to implement and evaluate the Rethinking Job Search Program thanks to being fully funded by theWorkforce Innovation Fund grant from the Department of Labor.

SALEM, OR – Friday, April 24, 2015, the local Workforce Board separated into the Mid-Valley Workforce Board (MVWB) and the Incite Inc corporate board, in order to more efficiently and strategically serve the workforce needs of the region.

SALEM, OR – The Mid-Willamette Jobs Council (MWJC), comprised of county commissioners from Linn, Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties, met yesterday April 8, 2015 to form and appoint the new Mid-Valley Workforce Board (MVWB) required by Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) signed in July of 2014.

The Mid-Willamette Jobs Council (Jobs Council) met on Tuesday, March 3 and selected Commissioner Craig Pope as Chair and Commissioner Roger Nyquist as Vice Chair.
