Washington announced on Thursday June 18th, 2015, a money award of $138Million going to 27 states and the Cherokee Tribal Nation in order "to strengthen, expand innovative job training and reemployment strategies for laid-off workers."

Incite Incorporated announces Workforce Board restructure

Mid-Willamette Jobs Council Appoints the Mid-Valley Workforce Board

SALEM, OR – The Mid-Willamette Jobs Council (MWJC), comprised of county commissioners from Linn, Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties, met yesterday April 8, 2015 to form and appoint the new Mid-Valley Workforce Board (MVWB) required by Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) signed in July of 2014.
