Willamette Care Connects (MVBHC) May Update

A sunny afternoon is certainly a bright spot kicking off the month. Thank you to all who’ve RSVP’d for the General Meeting next week. The updated agenda is attached and will feature engaging conversation. Please come if you can.

Bright Spots:

Please welcome our newest consortium member, Moises Ramos with Union Gospel Mission. Together with consortium member Eric Davis, JD Health & Wellness, residents, and clients at the Mission are receiving improved access to integrated care.

Several consortium members including Bridgeway Recovery Services, Valley Mental Health, Options Counseling, and Catholic Community Services will host an Employer Career Fair May 18 at Center 50+ on behalf of the new Behavioral Health Independent Provider Association in the region.

Finally, Chemeketa Community College High School Partnerships was awarded was awarded a Perkins Innovation and Modernization grant. The grant aims to enhance and maximize efforts of career connected high schools, promote equity in student access to educational resources and opportunities. CCC is committed to expanding and supporting rural community students and its future workforce by providing connections to regional industry partners to assure curriculum is relevant to workforce needs, providing work-based learning opportunities for students. Congratulations!
